The Sub-Regional Office of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Kozhikode, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, successfully conducted an awareness seminar on the Scheme for Promotion of Registration of Employers and Employees (SPREE 2025).

The session, held for the companies of Cyberpark, was coordinated and addressed by Shri. Ratnagiri S, Joint Director in charge. He provided a comprehensive overview of the SPREE 2025 scheme, highlighting its significant benefits for both employers and employees. The seminar focused on key advantages such as the waiver of penalties for past periods, hassle-free self-registration, and the comprehensive social security coverage offered under the ESI Act, including medical benefits and financial security for the workforce.

Representatives from various companies based in Cyberpark participated actively in the session, engaging in a productive question-and-answer round to clarify their queries regarding the registration process and scheme benefits.

This initiative is a crucial step by ESIC to extend the social safety net to a larger number of workers and empower employers through a simplified, penalty-free registration window.
